CURRICULUM
Kingswood invested many years in curriculum development prior to its launch.
Our proprietary courses include Creative Writing, Philosophy, Chess, Film Studies, Construction, Culinary Arts, Advanced Business Studies with real world applications including Finance, and our flagship Farming Fundamentals program, a collaboration between farmers and educators teaching hands-on farming skills for all age groups.
If a student has a particular area of interest or a specific academic need, we will build the curriculum to suit the student and submit the course to the Ontario Ministry of Education for accreditation if the student wishes to have it recognized as an OSSD credit. A minimum of 5 students should be requesting a specific course before we will submit custom designed courses for accreditation purposes.
The professionals working with our organization are educators as well as active practitioners in their respective fields.
